Many have heard the term “conflict of interest” but to most it is not clear what a conflict is or what should be done if one occurs or if it even applies to a personal situation. While we should seek to avoid them where possible, conflicts of interest can, and do, exist in the church.
(Guest Post by Chris Morgan) Learning leadership is an act of worship. God has extended to each of us the opportunity to be a walking “House of God” – a tangible interface between the community of humankind and the person of God.
I love my church where I serve, but I’m also very grateful for the local church in general. In all its beauty and flaws, I can’t imagine culture surviving without it.
Conflict is no stranger within the local church. Leaders cause motion and motion causes friction! Great leaders don’t need to avoid conflict, but rather become good at resolving it.
